“My main work Transformative is a long textile piece consisting of “ruffles” which reflects on the meditative and healing properties of both hand and machine sewing, a skill passed down to me. As well as the medicine wheel which is traditionally used as a tool in First Nations culture for teachings. I am choosing to focus on the four segments of balance in wellness of the medicine wheel, the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional.”
