Congratulations: Aspiring Artist Award Recipient

The YVR Art Foundation wishes to extend a heartfelt congratulations to the following artists for receiving an award:

2024 Aspiring Artist Award:

  • Nora-Jane Edenshaw – Haida

Nora-Jane is a 16 year old Haida artist from Masset who is interested in Naxiin weaving. She loves working with textiles and has been doing so since she was 13. The money she received from the YVR Art Foundation will go towards purchasing materials needed to continue with her weaving.
