YVR Art Foundation is pleased to announce that after a three-year program suspension during the pandemic, we are re-starting the Bill McLennan Masterpiece Study Program travel grants!
The call for Applications for the 2022 Bill McLennan Masterpiece Study Program travel grants is now open – visit the Bill McLennan Masterpiece Study Program travel grants program page to learn more and apply by Thursday, October 6th, 2022!
Travel grants are for BC and Yukon First Nations visual artists to research/study BC and Yukon Indigenous art collections at YVRAF museum partners around the world. Grants are up to $4,000 and are available to support grant recipients’ travel for in person museum collections visits.
New for this year is the creation of a Community Researcher travel grant, which will be awarded to a BC or Yukon Indigenous artist or community member to support their art, archival and/or other cultural heritage research at a YVRAF international museum partner.
